Consultation

This service involves personal consultation with a trainer, during which you will deal with specific issues, whether based on a questionnaire completed in advance or your own questions about areas such as:

  • the technical side of exercising, how to work out properly and effectively
  • how to properly set up a workout plan
  • what is important to consider during a workout programme – different body, different reaction
  • how to conduct yourself when exercising, breaks, repetitions, load, etc
  • how your body actually works

Setting up a training programme

Setting up a training programme to achieve your objectives.

A training programme need not only be about strength or stamina, if you have an entirely different problem and your goal is, for example, to get your knees moving after an operation, rid yourself of back pain or pain in another part of your body, in which case a training plan will guide you along the path of convalescence or sporting objectives.
A plan is tailor made to suit the needs of the client and should not be used by anyone else. Any guarantee of effect depends on how closely you stick to it.
A training programme lasts one month and comes with continual supervision by a trainer in the form of meetings in person, telephone discussions and e-mail contact.
You must fill in a questionnaire in advance or discuss the course of the training programme for this service to work.

Training lessons

Lessons under the guidance of a personal trainer, organised based on a questionnaire completed in advance, where the client chooses the course of the lesson him/herself – what to concentrate on, the style of the workout, etc.
If you are a bit lost and do not know how to work out properly, healthily and effectively, this is the service for you!
It will broaden your view of the world of fitness, increase the number of exercises for you to do and, above all, provide you with an awareness of how the body actually works and how to work out properly, without harming your health.
Our personal trainers and fitness instructors focus on developmental kinesiology in functional strength training.
Developmental kinesiology is a scientific discipline that deals with human development and which is in my view indisputable. Personal trainers try to provide people with a new way of looking at exercise and fitness and teach them to think about their bodies.
Unfortunately, things are not always what they might appear to be, even in the world of fitness, where for decades people have learned movements, exercises and models that are not actually very good for the body.
The role of the personal trainer is to show clients the secrets of development, to break down all the myths of fitness and to teach them the best way to exercise, just as nature intended.
The elements of physio and rehabilitation that we add to workouts for our clients are extremely beneficial – after all, when else than when exercising with a load should you think about what to incorporate to ensure an all-round effective workout, how and when.

Functional training

Functional training is the most popular fitness workout right now, but having functional equipment such as TRX, BOSA or KETTLEBELL does not immediately guarantee you functional exercise. Only the body induces functional movement. We learn how to stabilise it, mobilise it and strengthen it based on innate muscular coordination, which we have in many cases lost or forgotten as a result of degenerative living. Put simply, we learn how to move again.

In our workouts, we always focus on exercising with equipment that does not dictate the path of the exercise – on the contrary, WE determine how IT should move and only then will we make sure that our exercise is ideal.
It can be said with certainty that whoever has at some time entered the world of fitness or taken a functional training lesson wanted to have the certainty that it would help him/her function better in normal life – to move better, cope with constantly carrying something, deal with stairs, heavy work, seated work or maternity leave; or the plan was to set the target of being fitter, train for a sport or a race, or simply look good. Few people surely actually count on the fact that training will/could have the opposite results and recklessly carry on regardless.
Training equipment and the weight of your own body could have a negative effect on training, but might also have the capacity to develop the strength potential. We show exercises that do not destroy you, but which instead develop stability and do not come with the downside that, yes the muscles are burning, but the joints are suffering. They consequently develop mobility. There are also exercises that are able to help during convalescence from injury or as part of rehabilitation.

Functional workout I. - 60 minutes - STRENGTH, SPEED, STAMINA

  • Level 1 workouts involve 4 people at once (a minimum of 2) and are about a manageable intensity of full-body workout for all. Exercises are organised such that nobody is bored and everyone can work out effectively. In this lesson we concentrate on exercising the whole body and developing stability, mobility and strength.
  • The lesson consists of 3 parts. The first is the WARM UP, during which you get the body moving and get each part ready to exercise. The second phase is the MAIN PART, meaning functional training, during which we actually concentrate on the reason you are here – a proper workout! The final stage, the COOL DOWN, is just as important, because you need to regenerate the body after training too, relax it after a demanding workout. This is time for a number of rehabilitation exercises designed to gradually relax the whole body.
These are generally exercises that come one after the other at specific time intervals.

Functional workout II. - 60 minutes - CORE, STRENGTH, STAMINA

  • Level 2 workouts involve 4 people at once (a minimum of 2) and are more complicated, a fact seen in the content of the workout, in which the exercises focus on greater power stamina and muscle groups are exercised individually.

Functional workout III. - 60 minutes - MUSCLE STAMINA, NON-FUNCTIONAL HYPERTROPHY

  • Level 3 training is individual training for pairs. The advantage of this number of clients is that the instructor can pay them maximum attention. The pair become sparring partners and put themselves in the shoes of the trainer, motivating and helping each other.  The difficulty level depends on how advanced those involved are (and how precise the exercises are), meaning that it is also suitable for absolute novices that want to experience “fitness” from scratch (let the trainer know this in advance). Exercises and the system of training are scheduled to support muscle mass growth and strength.

Mobilisation and rehabilitation exercises – 60 minutes

  • Compensatory workout for 2 people that employs elements of developmental kinesiology and physiotherapy.
Suitable for those suffering from chronic pain in any area, that have sustained an injury or that suffer because of their work, when they sit all the time or are forced to move in the same way all the time.
Also ideal for sports persons as compensatory training.
You learn how to activate muscular coordination and chains and are able to avoid unpleasant pain using the ideal type of exercise. Put simply, we use the movement gifted to us by Mother Nature.

Diagnostics of the locomotor apparatus – 60 minutes

  • A "consultation lesson" during which the client undergoes detailed diagnostics by a trainer based on his/her medical history.
This focuses on problems with the locomotor apparatus, in that the client learns about how to prevent certain problems with his/her body. He/she builds up a range of preventative exercises and together with the trainer sets up a plan that helps the client prevent his/her problems.
